Title: Boat wiring
Post by: Sangersquirt on November 18, 2010, 01:36:08 PM
Gettin ready to rewire my boat.  My question is, does anyone have any pics of their wiring they could share??  Espesially if it has been relocated from the back of the motor!! thats what I'm going for.  I can't stand looking at the wiring even if its clean and new.  Any suggestions or ideas for an alternate location would be great, pics would be awesome.  Thanks for reading.

Only way to go...water proof painless connector...then routing your wires with this woven wire loom available at mcfaddendales or mcmastercarr...

Also if you have an air gap manifold use it to your advantage

Also if you paint your block black...the black wire loom will somewhat camo your wires as seen here

Here's how I did the wiring, not much to see but you get the idea, I ran everything to the transom clean and simple I'm right with you on the wiring being exposed just something else in the way I just think its a lot cleaner look.
