Would someone explain to me what that framing is on top of where the engine will be?
-
yes the framing on top is a sun deck would like to lay in the sun after i go around the lake anyway the guy in brought if from took the windsheild off and cut the top from the sitting area to the back and put cardboard under that so i took that out and redone that with resin and mesh now getting ready to flip the boat and sand paint up to the rub rail then wet sand wheel then flip back over then finish the top then do the int. by the way i'm doing this by myself the paint body work then the wife on the int the plan is to paint this a very B R I T E Y E L L O W INT SHOULD BE A OFF WHITE AND YELLOW NOT SURE OF THE CARPET. should take to long just got the vette done so now here comes the boat YES been waiting for that

Does anybody know if this is a 1/4 stringer boat?
-
From the pictures there is no way to tell. If you take pictures of the inside of the hull we might be able to tell.
-
got pic now does anyone know if this a 1/4 stringer boat
-
yep it's a 1/4 stringer boat.
-
is this a easy fix the stringers
-
by the way welcome :thumbs up:
are your stringers rotten? if yes i would think it would be easier and less time just because your not doing full length of the boat. i need to do mine too.
-
thanks will i need to do what the others do like putting two stands at the back and one in the front to replace the stringers and they look like 2x6 again thank soooo much for your help this will make it fast to get the boat up and running
-
you know i'm not sure. when i changed my center stringer and floor i removed the motor and left the hull on the trailer. my 1/4 stringers look to be 2" x 5.5" and i had a sanger with full stringers that looked like 1" x 5.5". with full length maybe they don't need to be as thick. maybe someone that knows more else will chime in. i'll be watching your thread. good luck.
