Looks like a good deal for the price if you have the mechanical ability to put it together (Overall it is pretty simple stuff).

I can't tell from the pic what Jacuzzi pump it has, but for the application either one (YJ/WJ) would be fine.

I would suggest having the engine looked at by a machine shop and the pump looked at by a qualified marine shop (if necessary we can refer you to one if you don't mind shipping it out).

As for the hull and interior you need to get in, around and under as much as possible.  Look for soft spots in the floor, cracks in the bottom, rotting wood under the seats, look inside the fuel fill necks with a flashlight and look for junk in the tanks...

Ask questions until you are comfortable with what you are looking at, and if you don't get that one you will find another soon.

The 455 Jacuzzi YJ in the 19' Charger I just picked up for my bud seems to run out just fine! I was actually impressed with it. Once he/we get it touched up here and there mechanically, should be a solid, reliable boat.

I wouldn't hesitate on that drive combo unless I was trying to build a hot rod.

For what you say you want to do, that size boat will be good.  Most people that start off with a smaller boat end up getting a larger boat within a couple seasons.

And then some just get addicted and buy everything in site
