Top left hand corner. Any ideas how to get it out? Also, i bought a QFT from Tom. I am not the brightest when it comes to engines so what kind of carb spacer should i get......what style intake do i have? Do i want one open or with 4 holes? Any help would be appreciated.

Drill it down a little and try to use an extractor.

If you have a MIG, weld a nut to it by filling the inside of the nut and also welding the broken part and let sit a couple of minutes and then turn it out. I can do that in 2 minutes. I have extracted many many studs, bolts and even taps this way.

Soak it down pretty good with PB Blaster. Leave it sit a couple nites with the stuff. Tapping on the bolt can help it get in there good. heat wouldn't hurt (On the bolt), but be careful. Then, yeah, listen to Tony, grind it down flat, Not flush with the intake, centerpunch and drill it, use a GOOD extractor, should come out fine. if it doesn't, weld a nut to it and try it all over again.
Just the way I would do it. I'm from the east coast, so EVERY bolt did this back there, lol.
Probably why I still put never seize on bolts and studs like this, and loc tite on others.

Cool. thanks for the replies. I will give it a try. What about the spacer.....any thoughts? Dammit that QFT is purdy!!!!!!!!

You have a dual plane intake, go with an open spacer if you're sticking with that intake.

Josh you may be able to use a carb spacer that actually utizes the "other" bolt pattern and simultaneously has the correct studs for your new QFT making the broken Manny stud "immeterial' call my celly in the AM and I'll explain Tom (after 10 am your time Bro ;))
