I have been looking for a project 19 Daytona jet but came across an ob hull that has been completely redone as well as the trailer. The hull is bare and needs a complete re-rig.
Pros and cons of putting it back together as a jet? Not worth the hassle, just keep looking for a jet project instead?
Thanks.

It's the candidate for a jet conversion.
They are pretty fast ob's though.

I agree with beer, those can haul ass as an OB. Where do you plan on using it? If you're sold on having a jet and your ready for the task to convert this, I would give Greg @ GS Marine a call and talk to him. http://www.gsmarine.us/ (http://www.gsmarine.us/) He was involved in the original designs of the Daytona's when he worked at Eliminator. He would know how much bottom work it would take to make it work as a jet. The bottom is the only difference I believe, or at least the main difference. Definitely keep us posted, sounds like a cool project.
