Title: does any one think this V-drive is worth it?

Post by: marceldawson70 on August 17, 2008, 07:31:53 PM: yeah maybe I should get their info and sit on it for a while. most of the time I use our dealership (pacific boat center) van and get better deals! they dont think as quick about price jackin when you work for a dealer ship. they assume you know more than they do...

If it has a split case casale it'll probably be a 12 degree. You might get $400 for that.

The single axle trailer might pull $200 to $300.

I have no idea what you could get from the engine. If its a rare GTO engine it might be worth a lot.

The hull and the rest of the hardware from 0 to $600 depending on how good of a salesmen/lucky you are. This is provided the boat isn't rotten.

Turning it into a fast riverboat won't happen, it's the wrong kind of flat.

Making a nice skiboat/ cruiser out of it will cost a pile of $$.

I like classics my 1964 30' chris craft constelletion, honduran mahogany is a classic, I thought the v-drive would have made a fast classic! NOT!! I'll keep the jet boat !! and wait for the right V-drive! my first boat was a 64 18' Glen-L! I should have kept her!
