i personally have a rule 1100 in my boat, figured the bigger the better without stepping into the 1500+ which get a lot bigger in size. get yourself the floater and wire it up with a manual override switch at the dash as well.
hopefully you'll never need it. but make sure you lift the floater from time to time and make sure its working.
