Hey Brad (Mr. Moderator)......please delete Proppys thread cuz........uh........   Cuz he's pissing my off!!!  How's that?   ;D

Boat looks awesome Proppy but I'm telling you, you're missing some fine boating by having your steering hooked up correctly.

Happy T-day..........john

WOW Brian, You really had that motor set forward !!

I told you I did ... but it needed it.

I'll be glad to see it on the water again. It'll be cool.

I'm really glad you got her and are finishing her up.

See you in a few weeks!

Brian

Progress, (finally) the floors are DONE !!!  Not perfect but it will have to do for now, I have less than 4 weeks before the Tom Papp memorial event and I really want to take this thing.   I really need to get it in the water by the 1st to do a leak test and hopefully set the water to the headers etc, etc.  So unless the "jolly fat man" is bringing me fuel lines, Christmas is canceled  >:D .

this pic looks funny (the black in the center) because its reflecting the ceiling.

It is smooth and shiny (for the most part  ::))

This thing has been driving me crazy !!!   I screwed up during the mock up (didn't put a gasket between the intake and suction housing) and its just enough of a difference that the pump brace and transom plates don't quite fit now  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:   .  Two steps forward and three steps back !!!

Got the pump in and fixed the brace, tomorrow I'll redo the transom plates.

A Lot of progress today,  Billy / Ironman made a flex plate cover, a loader and a cool fuel distribution block for me.  Now I have a new stack of parts to polish  :banghead: .  The good news is the motor is back in, the bad news is I have less than 2 weeks to get it done.  Still need to do the wiring, plumbing (fuel and water), and rebuild the carbs, plus a couple other things I cant think of right now (to tired).

BTW, I don't like the new color of the motor, but it matches the dist cover and the seats.

Yea, that's the alt.  No real benefit that I can think of for having it there, other than cleaning up the front of the motor a bit, and less things it unhook if I need to pull the motor.  Now if I could just figure out how to eliminate the water lines.  ;D

For me tho my back
bench seat hides the front of mine, so wouldnt do me any good. But does look really look cool tho ;D
