Title: fiberflass fuel tanks
Post by: moose35 on June 17, 2015, 09:27:58 AM: hey yall I have a 78 challenger, it has fiberglass fuel tanks, when I bought the boat the guy had the seat frames rebuilt and he ended up cracking one of the tanks, now is it hard to take out the tanks n replace them with aluminum tanks or should I just re fiberglass them and fix the seat frame? this is my first bout n one of many project I have so I would like it to be a permanent thing thanks for your help

I would definitely rip those out and put in some aluminum tanks. I did it on my ballet it wasn't that bad.

I'm actually trying to get money to finish the boat I'm building right now.

What were you thinking trade wise?
