So as I have posted, I have A.D.D.
I bought a 1986 Cobalt 19' bow rider.
Don't know why, but it was such a smoking deal, I just could not pass it up.
For $800 I got a 1986 Cobalt 19BR with a 350 Chevy, Merc outdrive and a Magnum tandem trailer.
All the wood except for some wet motor mounts is perfect.
The fiberglass is a little scratchy and faded, but an easy restore, the upholstery needs some help, pretty easy...
The engine now runs after replacing the failed torque coupling and the starter motor.... It is actually a 2010 carbureted version of the Mercury Marine Black Scorpion, Bowtie intake, four bolt block, forged pistons, roller cam, just plain cool, from what I have read, this is a 325 HP repower package, not the standard 260HP stocker.
The engine is ready to drop in, I sort of fast tracked this bitch to the front burner.... :screwy:

Glenn this is something we all know, all your doing Is letting us know your still not taking your meds lol.
But I think we all have add to some degree. I got all the kinks worked out of "old school" (the kona) and now I might trade it for a blazer. :screwy:

Forgot to mention, got a whole bolt of a very nice tan marine vinyl for the price of helping put a floor in a deck boat...
That also comes with a person proficient at sewing it together.. Thanks dad!
If I go over $1300 on this thing, I'm going to be upset. :sly:

She breathes fire!
Runs, shifts and idles....
The video won't work, gotta have the kid check it out for me.
Now to remove some of the ugly, mechanically it is done.
So stoked.
