Title: Good deal?

Hey everyone, I'm new here but fairly experienced in boats. I'm looking to start my first small project and found this on Craigslist. Could you guys tell me if this is a good deal or any other input on the boat. Thanks.

welcome to SCJB. that looks like a good deal if there is no rot in the stringers no soft spots in the floor .If it has fiberglassed in gas tanks they are a problem looking for a place to happen. Check the  trailer for  rust in the frame probably good to do the bearings and seals and redo the lights but it looks like a good place to start  :thumbup:

only if it has a stainless steel impeller, other than that 1500.00 max

Any idea on what they could mean by the hull has customized for high speeds?

Check for cracks and if original gel...look to see if its a full stringer(if not I would pass). Seen a few of those 1/4 stringer SW with cracks thru hull. As far as the speed...you want documents to prove any mods and visual check. For another 500-1000 you can find a way better hull or complete running boat.
