It's all a crapshoot of trial and error, my recomendation would be to chase down someone who has the same hull and find out what did and did not work, might save you some grief, not to mention some dough!

Some hulls respond to every "bolt on" you can throw at them, some don't, some respond to weight distribution, some don't, I think as long as things are proper i.e; bottom blueprinting, motor and pump placement, horsepower and wot rpm (matching to pump work), and overall rigging, 80mph can be attained without building a NASA spec machine, but everything has to be at least close.

It all boils down to homework and money.

Start throwing money at it till it stops gaining speed!

I got the interior and the carpet ripper out last night. The floor cleaned up really nice with a little acetone. need to lay a little glass down on the sub floor by the seats for some strength. Ive been going back and forth with lucky stiffie with the seats. I need a good way to mound them on a flat surface. They need to be as low as possible to. Im 6'2" and look like im sitting on top of the boat with the stock seats. coming along though. engine goes to the shop next week sometime to get a good look through.

So the guy whop is building my motor talked me into 1 large turbo hanging off the back! good idea or bad? its going to be a river racer hopefully!
