Nah, I didnt bring the gps as I really had doubts that it was going to be trouble free.  For what it's worth, that run in the clip was at 5000 rpm.  Seemed to carry the nose really nicely.

Hey TJ, Thats a AA Stainless from our friends at JetBoatPerformance.  Barry set the motor up so that it would cruise in the mid 5Ks and when I leaned on it it would spin to a range of 6200 following the charts that Tommy has.   I'm running the blower WAY underdriven with a 61 on top and a 54 on the bottom.  I may fiddle with them some day but for the time being, this is way faster than I need and I havent taken it much over 5 grand.  Too fat and old...... :screwy:

Look forward to seeing you make a run down south. I think Crewcheif is still trying to set sumpin up in October for a big gathering.

;D  Yah, that will prolly be something I pick up over the winter.  Still getting use to it at the moment.

Here's a cool shot somebody took when I was taking Brian for a ride on the Columbia River.  He just blew up his blown 468 and is in need of a new motor.  Thought I'd give him a ride in mine so he can see what mine is like.  I stepped on it from a 2500 cruise and it hauls ass.  Great fun but too many rollers and bumps there to stay in it.  I did see a 3 lbs of boost at 5500.  Will probably need to swap some pulleys real soon once I get use to it.

Ok, Gonna get you both eye exams, BUT Tom, gotta ask!

You know how we ALWAYS see the un-obvious (If that's even a word) in all pictures.

In the picture of Hannah, whats the entire name of the boat with the cover half-lifted off?

Looks kinda humorous to me!

Ray

(If it's $hit $andwich I'm gonna lose it! Has to be someone from Tandy Corp that was in one of my meetings!)

Okay, I'm a bit frustrated.  Seemed like over the weekend I couldnt keep the damn thing in the water long enough to keep it loaded.  As a recap, this is a Energized Panther with a SS AA impeller. No droop and the ride plate set at 2.4 degrees.

Any ideas of where I might be able to start???

Here's a short video. 6 seconds into it you can see that damn pump intake.  Unfortunately, when I was making the bulk of my passes, nobody was filming but we do have this one. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It seems to be brandnew. Didnt seem to have it earlier in the summer and I'm sure much is due to the rollers that we all were dealing with BUT, everyone else seemed to be able to work thru it but me.  This was in the second notch from the top on the diverter. I also tried it on the third notch but that clearly was dragging the nose more.
