Looks great. And nice that you have eager help too. I found when swapping pulleys I indicate it to spin as true as I can. I called Dyer about this (when I ordered a spacer) and he said you really do not have to. Mine was out over (.005”) 5 thou. Dyer said the center hubs are machine tight to allow only (.0035”) 3 and a half thou. of run-out. I called him out on that and he said, then maybe it was a good idea. I was able to get mine down to (.002”) 2 thou. by clamping an indicator to the belt guard and setting the pointer on the very small smooth lip on the front of the pulley. Snug the bolts every so slightly and re-check, you can get a “feel” where to “tighten” the bolts to get a closer run out. It takes many steps but really does not take that long. I know this is splitting hairs and may get flamed for it but every bit helps.
I have a helper too. My Dad (73 years old) and he knows his shit. He is the one who gave me this suggestion as he fixed many blowers and turbos in his diesel trucking days.
