Title: Ignition: how, where, why
Post by: East County Kona on June 16, 2015, 08:21:42 PM
Have a dig6 msd no idea where to mount what have you guys done? I'm doing a bubble deck river banger.
Looking for ideas how yours are mounted. I like how Andy Ralls has his in a battery box but I'm not sure rear of the boat is the best for something that may take a wake!?!?

Thanks for the help! Please post pics and thoughts.

On our marathon boat (whitewater river) I built a hinged plate that dropped down out of the transom.

I couldn't afford a camera at the time. I actually have very few pictures of any of the race stuff.

Thanks Glenn I'm thinking deep up in the transom as well. And prey a splash gaurd and water fall over may save some coin.

Spray it down with Aquanet. You will be surprised how much this does.

The hair spray? Really.. Never would have thought. But it makes sense, a light mist. Little water carrier.
