Well, I spent most of today on the river.

And as usual the first run, right after putting it in, is the best of the day. But still only topped out at a whopping 46 mph.

Then the rest of the runs were in the 35 mph range, better than yesterday, but still not great.

It was more responsive today and I can hop it right up on plane.

But it still pops when I try to give it some more gas, but when I adjust the timing, the popping really doesn't change much, so I think that the timing is just about spot on, and there is something else going on. But, I can't get any of the people that I know that know how to tweak engines and stuff, to come down for a boat ride and I don't really know what to do anymore because the timing is damn close, if I turn it in either direction just a tiny bit, it runs worse but the popping is still the same.

One of my dad's friends from California and his daughter and husband were in town today, so we sat at the restaurant on the river and talked, then I took them for a ride. So that's what most of the pictures are of. Then, I let my dad take a solo trip, so I could see how it was doing and how loud it really is (and it's not really that bad). The boat is riding real wet though, but that might be because I'm only doing about 30-35 mph in the pictures.

See pictures in next post.
