Boat number one!
« on: June 15, 2009, 12:31:54 PM »
This is a great site and thanks to all of you I am sold! I made the mistake of posting without introduction or pictures a few weeks ago, so, here it is...
..my very first boat, a 1975 Jem-Craft by Southwind (picked up for $3k).
From the sun drenched paint work, I see it has had two names - "Lifes too Short" and "White Lightning". It has a 460 Ford and a Berk 12JC-A.
It runs good although there have been some issues...

I would like to get this looking nice(r) and have recently started the process the best I can since I lost my job. Thus far, the craft has not fallen to the budget cuts!! (We sold some baby toys to get a new fuel pump  :-\)

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
