These folks drove 1000 miles from NM last nite to hang out on the Central Coast while we swapped some HP into this Beautifull open bow cruiser , seems this boat was produced with a late model SBC factory roller motor , Installing about 450 HP BBC, mor pics top come Tom

RE "set back" Yes John however its a "marginal job" IMO don't care for the rigging stlye ,poor fit , attack angles wrong (jets set incorrectly) We'll have Josh work some magic on the setup once the Big motor is ready next week More pics to follow ..

Tom, does that setup pull from a second inlet at the bottom of the boat to feed water to the motor, or is it jet pump fed?
im guessing, by the water pump, it has a second inlet..

Nathan on the sbc the "raw water " is supplied by the jet , the excess is "bypassed" and thethe waterpump which is designed for fresh and salt water use is a circulating pump Tom

Nice work Tom, my dad has pretty much the same boat. 21' Renegade (Pretty sure you got a Shockwave there wich I'm told is the same) What year is that one? My pops is a '01. I can't believe that thing came stock with a 350 in it, musta been a dog...wont be after you guys are done I bet.

Fired the new big block yesterday and broke the cam yesterday ,in its lake ready today we should have some comparison "numbers" soon Tom
