Title: jeep progress ( i know its not a boat)
Post by: FORKEDUP on December 14, 2013, 01:39:51 PM: Making some headway on the Jeep crawler project. suspension is done, full hydro steering is done, driveshafts are built, custom fuel cell is built, gears, locker and spool installed, upgraded front stub shafts to 35 spline, rear seat and harnesses installed. Getting closer. Next week i build the exhaust, plumb the fuel and brake systems and hopefully start and drive it very soon. Not sure if I have enough suspension travel though O0

also changed over to a flipped dana 300 transfer case with twin cable shifters

Post by: FORKEDUP on December 14, 2013, 01:41:42 PM: couple more pics. on the trailer is at true ride heighth. Had to take it to a buddys shop and use his lift to stretch it out so we could measure for the driveshafts.

and its out wheeling. I feel almost as good with those one being done as I did when Forkedup was finished 8)

Where you heading to? We are heading out this weekend to play and maybe Thanksgiving day. Going to try and get some POV go-pro video of going up some water falls.
