Title: motor angle in my boat

so I have a 21ft 79 katchina and I bought a 455 olds to drop in it but the driveshaft that came  with it is loger then the one before so I have to redrill my stringers but I dont know what the angle of the motor should be set at or the pitch....does anyone know? O0

What changed?

Did this hull have an Olds in it before? 

Why not just find the correct coupler and save yourself some work?

3 to 5 degrees sounds right....thw used to have a 454....but I got the olds for a price I could not pass up....reason I dont wAnt to buy a new shaft is I have more time then money...thanks for the replys

i put my motor in the same angle as my pump
