Title: My first boat project. 1975 Challenger

After buying my first boat (1977 manaray) I fell in love with jet boats. I bought it in April of 2013 and sold it in October of 2013 after I bought my 1975 Challenger that I have now. I pulled the engine out of the manaray and sold the hull, after that the journey began. Here are some pics of what I started with and I'll post more as I go.

One of the previous owners had the boat painted over the gelcoat and didn't take care of it. I'm stripping the paint off to get down to the gelcoat and then going from there. Before and after.

Ripped all the old wiring and started from scratch.

I love my Challenger besides the fact it's only 1/4 stringer
