I finally got the stringers re glassed and have the new rail kit installed on them. I'm going to set the motor in the boat this weekend and was hoping that you guys would be able to help me out. What is the correct offset angle of the motor relative to the pump shaft? I was told that they sould not be perfectly lined up.

Just did this myself slapper...i insralled the rsils about 1 inch down from the top of the stringers...then set the stringers to zero on one of them angle finders....next i found the angle of my pump....i did this by using the angle finder and putting it on the shaft of the pump where you hook up the driveline...after that i had to massage the motor plates to get the angle of the motor the exact same...however the motor is just a smidge higher then the pump and thats where i got my 2 degrees of angle on the driveline...hope this helps
