Upgrading the old logs to some Dana Marine Vortex manifolds and 4" through transom tips with internal flappers.
I cut some plywood with a 3 1/4" hole saw and epoxyed it in place to use as a solid center hole for the larger 4" hole saw for the new tips.
Once I have the new manifolds and 4" through transom tips installed I am having custom 4" S pipes made. Aluminum or Stainless S pipes tbd.
Anyone interested in my old complete setup? I will list the setup in the classified section as soon as time permits.
454 Big Block Logs. Teague Stickers on logs included. LOL!

Looking nice...how the hell did you get the old tips off? I'm having a really rough time getting mine to pop off.

I though I should also give some credit to Preston my four year old son for doing a great job on this project so far! His twin brother Gavin is also doing his part which is just as important!

I had to wedge a highlift jack from the inside and jack the tips out. I was worried I was going to blow the transom out the back. Unfortunately I had just used 3M 5200 to put those trumpet tips in after the gel coat was done. I was stressing out that the gel coat was going to blow off at a minimum. I used a liberal amount of that 5200 when I put it together. Glad to say there was zero damaged.

Get them started young, good. Thx for the info. I have no idea what the PO glued those tips in with but I don't think it's from this world hehe.

Done with the drilling before my first beer! Maybe I did this backwards?
