Hey guys, im new to the forum. And new to jet boats. Im looking at an 80 marlin with a panther jet drive on it. boat is in great condition. previous owner had a 10,000 motor in itwhen he traded it in, dealer didnt wanna give him what he need so took motor out. Just has the jet drive now. Ive worked on pretty much every other motor (diesel,gas,small engine) out there just not on boats. What do you think is a fair price for boat/tandem axle trailer.? What am i looking at getting into with this project? What motor would you guys recommend as far as a play/ski boat. If i was to do an auto motor(if recommended??), what all would i need to convert to marine ready? Any and all help, recommendations and experience is greatly appreciated.
