Hello everyone,
I'm a new boat owner, with a big project for this season, just acquired this boat for a great price because the engine needed reduild. Luck would have it that I am putting a iron block race motor in my car this year and will happen to have a perfectly good ls2 motor to put in the boat, and the parts and know how to fabricate a cutom turbo system for it. Currently the engine is in my CTS-V and made over 1000WHP on 22PSI.

My main questions are about upgrading the pump to be able to handle this amount of power, and converting the ls2 for marine use. We will be going carb'd and ditching the fuel injection... Any and all advice is appreciated, I am looking to have the motor in and screaming around Powell this August.

Thats a BIG Sleekcraft for a pump. (a romantic table for two, and a Manhattan loft- on a squirt boat :thumbup: )
"E" pump may not be as HP friendly as a JC/JG, etc.
A Berkeley will take damn near every HP you can throw at it.
My 21 is in the high 50's with 450+ hp (heavy azz cruiser)

Any pointers on what jets to use for 900-1000 FT LB's?

would throwing a large amount of power in that yacht even be worthwhile? thats a lot of weight to get moving, wouldnt it just cavitate like crazy unless you eased into it?

I would hope not, provided it is set up properly, but yes this is exactly the kind of stuff I need to know...
