Hey guys been on about 3 months been soaking up the awesome info and lessons learned on here lol my project is a 76 brendella super jet. Was put together all wrong as far as motor, plumbing , and all around strange things. I've done the berkeley swap from a shot out jacuzzi had the berk rebuilt from a guy who's very knowledgeable in norcal where I live putting an olds 455 30 over together and I'm sure I'll bounce alot of stuff off u guys in the future!

Ps, does anyone have info on this hull? I've tried to find out as much as I can, it's registered as a 76 brendella, it's a bubble deck and my stringers end about two feet from the dash. Also has a delta pad....

trip on that bro, well my pink is clear, the things registered and I doubt I'd catch any flak from anyone. I saw the same hull almost it's all white on this site maybe he ll chime in I don't remember his name off hand. There's a badge that says brendella on the dash but it was screwed to an aluminum cover over a hole where a stereo was. What does it look like to you? Now I'm just flat out curious.

I think it is a legit 76 brendella some how the number got mistyped along the way I ve scoured the Internet looking for info but come up empty handed the closest shape I've found is the 70s hondo s but they are slightly diff even then

For what it's worth, I also had an early Brendella (78) and the HIN didn't line up with Brendella either. I also had a clear title. There were a number of people (not here) that suggested it wasn't a Brendella or that it was stolen. The HIN suggested something like Glass Performance sumthin or other It wasn't till a year later or so that I came across another guy with a Brendella and it was 100% spitting image of my boat. Guess what, it's HIN was also a Glass Performance hull too even though it was a Brendella. The story I was told was that there were a number of people laying up hulls back in this period of time and manufacturers would hire them to build the hulls. Don't know if that's the truth but I will say, when we're dealing with these old hulls, it's hard to say what the whole history is. I do know that a friend just bought a brand new hull and it also was laid up by someone else.
I recall seeing a Brendella with a bottom like yours and am confident that it's a real Brendella too. Have fun and good luck with it. Should be a great boat......john

thanks John I believe it is too. this is probably what is going on here I never thought of that. There are not very many pics of these I've found so far but u saying that's what was up with yours tells me your right. Is it in fact a super jet? Or what's the style of this hull named?
