Well I picked up a new motor a few weeks ago and have slowly been putting it together. It all started from this little incident.

Well its in! Easy money. Incase anyone was curious. Its a direct swap from a sbo to a bbo. I was a little nervous... it took me 4 hours to get the bilge cleaned up and all the oil soaked carpet out of there as well as the bilge painted. But she's in

Good work Daniel! I told Harry it would work fine.
More FYI. Parts interchangeability, external dimensions are almost ALWAYS universal on BOP engines. Meaning 350 Buicks are the same as 400 and 455 Buicks, same with Pontiac and Olds. A 326 Pontiac head will fit a 455 block. There REALLY is no Big Block/Small Block deal as dramatic as with Chevrolet. ;)
Another FYI for Pontiac fans, the Olds rear motor plates also fit on Buick and Pontiac engines. And older Cadillac engines as well (Be kinda cool, and actually thought of a jet boat with a 500 or 525 Caddy motor in it.... :D )
See ya at BR!

Well I was hoping to fire today but I'm short a few little things. I'm an inch short on fuel line and short 1 base gasket and ive drank way to many silver bullets to go get it. The dp line wont cleat the intake without the spacer. And forgot to get valve cover gaskets. But she's wired, half way plumbed ( waiting on t-valve) and full of oil. This is the most stoked I've ever been with this boat forsure. Next Berk swap.. got the intake and a 12 jc.
