First time I've ever really looked through this thread.  Very impressive and a really cool story to boot.  Wish I could find the boat that I grew up with and do it this same justice.  That's good stuff right here, Brad.  April 10 is right around the corner.  I (along many others surely) will be anxiously awaiting pics and vids so we can all live vicariously through you.  Good luck on it's second ever, maiden voyage.

Brad,

What product was used to paint the black stuff in the engine compartment area on the floor? I have my motor out of my boat right now and might do that same thing.

Can it be applied by brush or do you have to pay somebody to spray it in?

Thanks,
Nick

Brad it looks REALLY good, Hey when yenz* (*Means "You'all or Ya'll Pittsburgh Style) did the stringers with brushed on gel coat did you have to sand and/or clear coat it after you brushed it on? How difficult is it to brush gel on a vertical surface like a transom? I'd rather not learn how to spray gel, buy all the material and equipment to spray it just to do my stringers and inside of transom..  Thanks..   Roy.

Yeah Brad, Kyle:

Where are the Havasu updates?  Or did you just park and oogle under the bridge?   Just kidding guys.  Extremely exhaustive and excellent project results.  Can't wait for a ride someday.
