...again.
However this time it's not due to a problem. I'm doing a split bowl/droop conversion...swapping from the C bowl to an American Turbine split bowl w/droop.
Just got the pump off of the boat yesterday...and I found the source of my water leak. Somehow when Beerjet and I reinstalled the pump a washer got stuck between the transom housing gasket and the transom. So hopefully my leak will be gone when I get the pump back on.

Well i guess thats one way to carry extra parts ;D Good eye, and good luck with the conversion.

Washer my foot, you guys thought you found a new beer machine and tried to work it using slugs. A lot easier and cheaper just to run down to the local liquor store and by a case. :D :D :D :D

Hey Jet Boy, why don't you get some clearance specs on that pump while its apart ? Then you will atleast know if there is ever a problem starting or a change in the pump before you break your second housing.

I'm sure he'll do that . After all it is apart and it isnt going to cost him any more $$$$ in gaskets at that point . I know mine is .

Well his pump is still not back in, but the motor went back in (moved back 5", no jetaway). He got it set in place useing one of my spare pumps so we know its right. And at least its a running boat again ::), and now he has some rear seat leg room.
motor set and new holes drilled
