been to lazy to update so here goes.
took the boat to marine stadium as you know, so we stop and top off the tanks and proceed to go to the stadium. when we get there we stop at the restroom so my wife and kid can handle their business before an afternoon on the water. I decide to do a walk around on the boat, i get to the back of the boat and smell gas, so i look inside and find lots of gas in the bildge
so i start looking for the hose that i put on that should be leaking
, nope not there
so i continue searching and low and behold the forking fuel sending unit is leaking from the top of the tank. so i grab a wrench and tighten the screws best i can, wife comes out and says it smells like fuel!! rut-roh
i tell here what happened and i fixed it (i think) now we continue to the launch ramp so i can flush the bildge, the only problem with this is that the ramp sits at an angle and the sender is towards the rear of the tank so more fuel is running out
so i just pull the bildge plug and fill the boat up with lots of water and pull the boat out and run the bilge pump and pump all that shit out while i think about my options
when boat is level no fuel leaks, so once i launch it the fuel will stop
so i unstap the boat and back it in again, get in and she fires rite up
and i motor over to the little beach to do a leack check, this sum bitch is taking on water 2 little gysers (sp?) faster than my bildge pump can keep up
