I meant to put the the rear was the same. I havent seen to many of the round transom adapters!

Yeah OC, the Superjet is a 19' family boat that were one of the most popular jets of the time, the boat I sold Tom is only a 17' hull, there were quite a few Sanger jets with that distinctive molded through-piece, I didn't mean to sound condescending in my earlier post, but that little Sanger is quite "different" than any other jet I've ever owned...I tried to buy that boat for 7 years, then when I finally got it, I was not in a position to do a damn thing with it

My family situation has gotten complicated.

How to Measure Length

A motorboat is measured from end to end along the centerline or parallel to the centerline. The measurement is from the outside of the hull and does not include outboard motors, brackets, other attachments or similar fittings.

Ralph my buddy Glen scammed the cool Berk (long) droopy ,so as theres very little adjustment in the Calgo we had to :"lengthen" things to make everything come back together ,enter my "mad scientist kid " , he digs around in his "secret locker" of rat holed cool goodies and pulls out that "device" which made the whole shootin match fit !! That little motor BTW should make 400 hp and the jets got a lot of custom internals , if the boat works well and handles etc there make be a Blower motor in the works
I agree re this project ! we really appreceate the opportunity to rig this old race boat it has some very cool and unique features not the least of which is the bottom which is very different than my other 18 Sanger, I have as well as the complete Balsa inlay and full stringers (which I belive are unique to Sanger jets) Tom

Like my Dad said the calgo wasn't very cooperative in the adjustment area due to some "custom" cable ends. But one of the things that has been fun/challenging at times is trying to come as close to the original set-up as possible. The nozzle is now withing a fraction of an inch of where it was before and the rear of the engine is less than two inches of where it was before (the difference being the small block). We were able to get the engine forward by utilizing a Berkeley JA pump shaft and a custom center section for the h-bar.

Even though we got a lot of cool stuff with the Sanger , one half the Cav stuff was missing ,Josh made this Today out of a used prop shaft and a block of Aluminum ,Almost done !
