We're saving another one before it turned into scrap I've been seeing this boat on Craigslist for over a year told a few people about it and no one jumped on it .we sold our miller and needed something for the summer so we dragged it home. It sat under some alvacado trees and had a foot of leaves in it .I knew that this was going to be a fun boat to build as we were hauling as down the road as the leaves were flying out of it

After getting her to the shop the bulk head and gunnel supports were junk so they had to go

If I remember right, wasn't that Hondo a complete boat and sold by a storage yard in Castaic? Then some dude in Camarillo stripped all the parts and has been trying to sell the hull for the last year+? You get any parts with it? Congrats, btw. Thank you for saving her
-
That sounds about right no parts

I bought that boat out of a yard where it sat for years in Fillmore.
I parted out that boat, and Rick the guy that sold that hull and trailer bought it from me the way he sold it.
I still have a lot of the parts that came out of that boat...

It had an olds 455 in it and a WJ jacuzzi...Was sitting in some guys pasture in Fillmore for 10plus years.
The hull was very sound and the stringers were super solid, that's why I didn't dump the hull.

I just picked up a Tahiti from the woods up here in Alaska and need some input on getting the intake/shoe out. I've tried just about everything to remove all the adhesive. I don't want to resort to my sawzall! Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since we had the time to work on this one but dedicated some time over the holidays to get on it
Patched and re cut the intake hole for a set back Berkeley pump no more jacuzzi
Plugged all the holes in the stringers and we're smoothing out everything
