John I found this under a "google search" for Noahs Ark ...
Quick-read this article:
Tommy's  Ark was taller than a 3-story building and had a deck area the size of 36 lawn tennis courts. Its length was 300 cubits (450 feet, or 135 meters); its width was 50 cubits (75 feet, or 22.5 meters); it had three stories and its height was 30 cubits (45 feet, or 13.5 meters). Frikkin Biblical huh??

OK so since this boat is in very good condition (dry stored since 87') we decided to go forward with it ,it had a 427 fe originally (we bought it from the son of the original owner) we think we found a 430 lincoln MEL (similar) want to try for a "period correct boat" Heres some of todays progress Tom
