We had some over spray on the original carpet. Plus, it was THICK sh!t that never dried out and had mildew in it. When we pulled it back we discovered some piss poor, floor patch work, and rotted floor support beam underneath.

The support beam was soggy with oil and whatever else had built up. It was only held in with 3 screws. The portion near the engine was non-existent, so we made a new piece and fiber glassed it in.

Bought a new piece of 3/4" plywood and threw it in. We ran low on fiberglass (as well as $$$) so we only fiber glassed the edges. (not the right way to do it...we know   :P) We did however, spread the leftover resin over the exposed wood, hopefully giving it enough sealant to last a couple seasons.

Put down the new carpet from Home Depot. Marine grade, dark Gray. $119.00 6'x20' roll

(Added the gauges with anodized purple bezels and a new anodized purple forward/reverse handle, you can see the top half of it in the pic above)

Bolted on the new Covico 3-spoke white classic on with an anodized purple steering wheel adapter.

Put the 3-stage Meguiar's wax on

Screwed the beats down

And she was ready to go...right in time; before Memorial day!!

We still have a couple things to do here and there, but that's why you have a boat; to tweek it the way you want it and be proud to float it on any body of water. I'm more than proud of what me and Mike (Riversled) created, and I want to give a special shout out to him and really thank him for all the work he has done on this boat. If it wasn't for him, I'd still be floatin' and dreaming about having a cool boat; the dream has become reality, Thanks Dude.

I hope you guys like it too. Thanks for the comments!!!
