got started on her this weekend. i will post pics as i go. here are a few.[attach=#]

cut out the tanks, going to refurb them. they seem to be in ok shape, sanding the bottom for paint, carpet and floor next week! i hate working with fiberglass!!!!!!

decided on a bbc! picked up bassetts, drive shaft, pto, shifter, berk nozzle bucket, bell housing, water inlets. moving along!

filterbiz, Just a question. In the second to last pic from your first post, it looks like the bottom rises back along side the jets intake (looks like the stringer is shorter near the transom than about 3' forward). Am I just seeing things or does it really do this, and if so does the outside of the bottom do the same thing ??

it is some sort of illusion, i did spill some fuel right there. it looks like it swoops up but no it doesnt. but i will double check now that you have my mind racing@!!! ha

here it is. the stringer is the same size.

to hot this weekend to work on the boat. :mad: so i ended up buying a bbc, 95 mercruiser block and heads, tore it down and dropped off at the machine shop today. almost have a complete boat. just need the interior.

well boat is at the paint shop now, i went with chevy torch red, also doing the comp trailer the same, will post pics soon
