Depends on what you're looking to do.

There are tons of choices these days.

I use Summit and McMaster Carr.

Earl's is nice stuff.

second that. They will have everything you need and a good price too. Right about the same price as summit for summit's house brand.

If you arent dead set on the stainless steel ones. I recommend the black nylon braided lines. MUCH easier to assemble they dont fray like the stainless and they look better in my opinion.

Also incase you didnt know, the hose side of the fitting screws on counter clockwise... Took me many years of assembling hoses to learn this. Makes it a hell of a lot easier.

And i learned it on my last few hoses on the boat...

Would the black braided nylons be a less expensive route to go?

Oh and GT I got my float running, now just putting a little love to clean up the motor. Going to redo all wiring to clean it up next weekend. I'll post pictures.

Thanks Steve, I'm power sanding the block next weekend then throwing a coat of high temp black on it. I think the black braided might look awesome on top of the chrome valve covers I have for my bbc

I'll get some pics of mine tomorrow. I really like the way it looks.

It'll look great with the polished pays too.

My carb is powder coated in Chrome and the black looks really nice with it

Steve, that's not too far from me. I'm in Southridge/Fontana area. My Quadrajet carb is gold and I'm looking into getting my block painted black. So I'm still up in the air on what color I'd like the lines to be. Pics would be cool to see of yours.
