the material is sheared and ready to be bent...
by the wat is 10gal in each tank enough?? cause thats wat these tanks are goin to be..
-
10 gallons isn't really enough. I have two 9 gallon tanks in the Hondo and really have to pay attention to my fuel consumption.
-
unfortunently im stuck with the 2 10gal tanks. i just gotta watch it.. i have a bbf 390 so its not too too bad i guess...
-
the tanks are all formed and welded.. just need to glass in the wood and drill hole for the fill and pick-up.. then ill be allll done.
-
nice...

Nice work! Paint STOP on the ends of 'em for giggles! ;)
If yer cutting holes already, you gonna go ahead and put sending units in?

i thought about paintin stop on the ends but no one would see it.. ha
and i gotta fiber glass in the wood for the hold downs, then im goin to mark my holes for my pick up and filler hole, then ill be all done... im not going to have a gas gauge.. i know i should but im just goin to be carefull and keep checkin my gas.... i kind of know how far i can go with what gas i have....
i hope to be done in a few weeks so i can make a trip to avi in early oct.

Wouldn't take but a heartbeat to install senders, but I get it. The big paint sticks at HD and Lowes are free and make REAL nice and handy fuel guages............

This is true as well, Frank! LMAO But personally, I throw the sticks away after a trip or two for that very "Roman Candle" reason, lol. Did i mention the sticks are free???

Ha, and here I thought I was the only one that used the HD sticks... Haha my gauge doesn't work for crap. It currently says full and I got about a 1/4 tank.
