Well here it goes I purchase a 77 18' Nordic needed transom board maybe stringers going to replace them can anybody give me some advice what do I use to glue the transom board to the glass
Thanks rusty

resin and matting . maybe kitty hair.
-
Resin and cab-o-sil mixture. Make a paste the consistency of peanut butter and apply it to the transom and new wood, put the woo in place and clamp in place until it is cured. Once cured prep transom and wood and deal with at least one layer of Matt, and a layer of a nice finishing cloth.

-
very nice! keep the pics coming!
-
hope to have the transom glued tomorrow then on to the stringers already made the board for the seats going to keep it the same

Not sure about the west marine thing. I got mine from Tapp plastics. When you clamp it in place for the final time get some 2x4s and clamp to them to evenly distribute the pressure and you will be gtg.

its a little pricey and runs about $40 a tube at west marine. its the right stuff to use

That looks like good shit. I would use this instead of mixing cab-o-sil. This will be cheaper.

I don't have my Nordic anymore but you are far into your project. Are you planning on flipping it over and checking for hook. I know my boat had issues cause it would get down right dangerous at anything over 80mph.
