Kaotyk would be the guy to ask. He had it in his old float

I have it in my boat and it holds up just fine. It can be a little abrasive when you're wet and sitting in the seat for an extended period of time. I liked the look is why I went with tweed.

I really like the look also. Just want to do it every season. Can you scotchgaurd tweed. Or just put towels down

I throw a towel down. I'm not sure if it's marine grade or what, but it holds up fine. Maybe contact Martinez Marine Interior in Corona, they did mine and many other people's as well.

Was the tweed any cheaper?

I didn't really price it both way's, but I think cost is about the same regardless.

i had tweed in my old foat and it was cool at first, but it gets dirty (vinyl wipes right off), sunscreen soaks into it and stains and as mentioned above its not quite comfortable rubbing on your sides in a tight fitting seat.

even towing it to the lake, they grab ALL of the dirt kicked up from the road. then when you sit in em your back is all black. at least vinyl just wipes right off.
