What's the plan?The plan is a complete rebuild with nothing left untouched. Testing how much money I can dump into this boat with no possibility of return. Jordan it's a terrible disease without a cure. I've heard that you have a touch of it yourself it seems to be going around this winter.

Ha Ha, you want to see a lot of work, you should browse thru my Kona build, some time!Ha ha I don't know what else we could have done to make it more work unless we had to replace stringers or trying to layup a new one. This is definitely a task. I'm one to say this is gonna be one bad a$$ boat when it's done with NO corners cut. And definitely gonna be one of the nicest wingers around. Can finally say seems like we are over the hill. Can't wait til Sammy does his magic and we start to reassemble.

Had to go backwards a bit and add some Glasson top to remove some glass off the bottom. Good thing I just finished the Flo Kote so I could remove it. Did the fiberglass work and completed the bottom work. New Flo Kote completed and back on track.

Why'd you have to remove material from the bottom? I had to smooth out the transition from the keel to the intake. I not to sure how thick the hull is In this area so I added material inside before I removed material on the bottom.

Yes. We should be flipping the boat around today. I'm putting carpet on the bunks today, and probably start spraying the top of the boat tomorrow. 🚤💨. I still don't know what I'm going to do with the pump. I might just use mine and rebuild it or buy another one, I don't know. I guess it all depends on how much money I have to spend on this project. :/ I understand my money tree is bare I may have killed it and I still need to come up with 8,000.00 to complete mine. I will be sendding it out to Sammy this weekend for paint it's been a lot of work the boat had to be sanded down to the fiberglass and a lot of fiberglass repairs were made. I'm still shooting for the first of May however I will have more work to complete as I can but the most of it will be done.

We'll the paint is do for now still need to put some color in it but we are going to wait until the March thing is over. Just got the pump in and wiring it right now. It is looking so good. Picking up the motor tomorrow. 😀nice at least someone getting close getting wet.

Jim, I have a similar quote that gets thrown around my garage a lot, "it's almost like we know what we're doing!" When doing these projects sometimes we get it right, sometimes we don't. I love the learning experience. You and Dennis are killing it on these wingers!Yeah Jordon we thought we knew what we were doing a couple times but we got over it pretty quick. I can honestly say I know every nut and bolt in this boat they are all new. The only thing that was not changed was the intake other then that it's all new. Right now I'm in a spot where I'm as far as I can go without parts and I miss working on it, habit I guess. It will be nice to get to Avi and see all the boats that got a face lift this year. Your best bet is to start a new thread in "project" section of the forum, and the folks here are gonna need a lot more information. Ask as many questions as you can there, show pics and progress. Tons of help here on the site.

Now that the project is completed I'm ready to enjoy it. I owe some thanks to a few people. Sammy for the nice paint work on the boat and the scoop. Chris and Joe from B1 racing for the pump and the help with the boat. Martinez marine for the great job on the seats. Lefty for his design and work on the name and CF numbers. Brad and SoCal jet boats, I got a little help a long the way from the boards. Then there was Omar who I had a challenge with not sure where that went. I have saved the best for last RTCP or Dennis. Dennis was in with me from day one till we completed the job. Late nights 7 days a week he helped labor and moral support and a shop. We have learned a lot together I think the most important thing we learned is let someone else dump 30 grand into the boat then buy it. Some of you got to see it at AVI this last weekend. I will get some pictures up of it on the water soon.Glad to be apart of this build. The boat came out amazing and yes we did learn a lot along the way. I'm am really happy that this project is over and is now time to enjoy. Had many ups and downs and can honestly say we kept eachother going through our builds when either one of us were down. And I will miss the late nights working on the boat but will definitely enjoy the nights looking at our bada$$ boats and can honestly say we built them. Cheers Jimpen! 🍻 I'm not trying to brag but WE knocked this project outta the park.

Jim I felt the same way. Now that we are not working on the boat everyday and night with Gary and I started to miss that. Lol.
