Title: Bebo's Parts List
Post by: Tio Pancho on June 16, 2010, 02:39:18 PM
So we got all our parts back from Dave at A&D and we are ready to start assembling his motor. Thanks Dave .Here is a top of my head list of a couple things we will be needing or would like to have. Motor is a stock BBC.

Carb - I think I was told a 750 is what we are shooting for.

Remote oil filter adapter. I want to make it as easy as possible for him to work on this himself.

A 10 qt oil pan - we have a stock one, but if we can pick up a 10 qt at a decent price I would like to.

Drive line.

Will be adding to the list soon.

Nuttin else on your list as of yet.  ;)

frank if you guys can swing it just pick up a new remote oil filter deal from summit or jegs...they are really reasonably priced new! if i had a spare it would be yours, but i actually had to purchase one yesterday...with the stock pan and possibly a duel filter set-up you can get away with another quart...

Thanks for the advice Nordie. I will check out summit. Shame that I didn't think of that sooner. I just placed an order yesterday.
I would think that some type of aftermarket oil cooler would help that cause as well. I was thinking about one of those round ones.

Does this sound reasonable?

honestly with a stock BBC i wouldnt really sweat the oil cooler...something with some performance i would, but the oil filter location on the BBC i would def recommend the remote deal it's a real pain...only thing i will miss about my BBF alot easier lol

this is the one i ordered, and you can also get it in a single...i use jegs, because summit i get taxed, but their orders get here just as quick

for the single

your looking around 52 bucks, but worth it imho

Dave - I will call you tomorrow. I was really busy this weekend.

RL - I sort of misposted this. These are parts that we are looking for, not selling. Sorry for the confusion.
