Berkeley 12jg split bowls, #1. White has been shortened .140 , moves the rear veins closer to the empeller and makes more bowl pressure, veins have been sharpened. $250.00. 2. Stock G bowl veins have been sharpened good condition. $350.00. Jim 1818-890-1867

That bowl that has been sharpened and shortened a little over 1/8 of an inch, is that for high HP applications when matched to a good impeller?

it will work for any application, but the impellor will have to be fitted, not a bolt on. must fit the impellor

What is the point of machining it down then? Is it a damage repair?

I'm just trying to figure out which bowl you have is a better fit for what I am building. What is the benefit of higher bowl pressure? Less cavitation? More speed? Less RPM?

In my experience, quicker acceleration. I feel the more speed is somewhat debatable. Maybe on an incredibly light hull.

depending on nozzle size, hp, cam, weight, impeller etc , these guys want you to write a book, I am just try to sell a bowl, don't care which one I sell, now if he wants me to do the whole pump, that's different

they are white with the factory green inside and the veins are good, could be bolted on and go, for $30.00 i'll put new bowl bearing in and a new seal with bowl and nozzle gaskets. if you want.
