Thee bottom bolts to the bell housing and the top comes off to get to the u joints, here is a picture of the bottom where it bollts[attach=1]

To the rear bell housing (the one with feet for stringer) Should have 3 bolt holes around the opening for mating. If not you can drill and tap. I redrilled mine up a size. It just floats over the shaft...not meant to stand on.

the holes don't match the lightening but they are on the bottom and can't see them, they could be redrilled
