GC's Moving Sale
« on: September 07, 2016, 06:38:47 AM »
After 20 years in the same place, I now find myself having to move across town.  I have collected a few things for "projects" along the way that I now just want to get rid of instead of moving them.  Pics will follow when I can get them out of my wife's camera (which may have just gone to Mexico to cover some off road race).

Olds 455 Logs and snails, polished    $100

Olds 455 windage tray w/ bolts         $40

Ford 460 MSD                                  $100

Ford 460 longbolt logs/snails  UGLY    Best offer

460 valve covers w/ some outside rust    $25

stringer mount foot throttle                 $25

460 PTO  ugly                                     $20

More details to follow at some point.   Still trying to decide if I'm selling a Holley 850 and my stash of Chrysler jetboat stuff.

Nice Mallory dizzy with Accel wires and looms  (forgot if it is Olds or Ford)  $100

All items are in the I.E. and I would rather not try to ship most of this stuff.   Step right up, Operators are standing by.

Sorry no puke tank.

Typical foot throttle, but I can't remember if it pushes or pulls. Good shape, no rust.
I will try to get pics up tomorrow night if I survive tonight's party.

Noooo       I have been a Mopar guy since birth and have always had a dream of building a jet boat with the same kind of 472 stroker motor that I have run in my cars (550hp 575 tq).   The mounts and exhaust are cherry and $$$ but cash makes people do strange things.   Make me an offer, I gotta go up to Hesperia soon anyway.   Also understand if you ever get this built, I want a ride or 10.

The throttle is a REX and it pushes the cable straight out the back.  It is a floor mount NOT stringer mount.  Works like new and no rust.

On the 850 Holley, I will have to look and it is packed away with the Mopar stuff right now.  I don't think it has the J tubes though.  It is an ugly painted green carb that I think was on Ralph's race boat.

The logs are just dirty from being in storage, they won't need much to be shiney like new.  The Ford ones I have are definitely not shiney and pretty but they are solid.  Pardon the duct tape on the windage tray, it is holding a bag of bolts.

Cadillac parts?  LOL       I did almost build a big ass Poncho motor for my boat early on instead of the Olds.

Where in the IE?  I'll take the floor throttle.

Garage cleaning day.  Don't have room for this stuff in the new garage so it really needs to go.
Somebody needs this stuff.  Yeah even my Mopar shiz.  That is a dream boat that just isn't gonna get built anytime in the next decade.
Don't make me leave all this stuff on Crewchief's front porch or take it to the dump.  :banghead:

I just looked up the numbers and I think it is an 800 cfm.  #80466
It is a marine carb, one J tube is perfect and one looks to have been trimmed a bit.  It is a double pump with mechanical secondaries.  I am in Redlands but I drive all over in the afternoons.
It ain't pretty as someone painted it lime green but an overnight dip in carb cleaner will take care of that.  It has been on a shelf for years so it will need gaskets anyway.  Looks to be appx $650 new from Summit.  How does $350 sound?
