I have "almost" finished my1977 sanger super jet project. I have been looking at the PD. Is this a direct bolt on for a Berkeley 12jg? If so, what else is needed for a proper and complete install and approx. cost?, The boat has a factory ride plate turn buckle type - will the PD interfere with this? do you take off the ride plate? . what do you think about a droop snoot short or long with this setup --- Yes ? No?
I am very interested if it will fit. Sorry for all the questions, if you don't have time I understand.
Regards,

It is a direct bolt on and can be used with or without the droop snoot, should not interfere with a ride plate. The wiring and switch are there, just needs the hyd lines from the pump to the unit. You can run cheap nylon lines or get the nicer braided lines....we had to cut them to remove them from the boat... This thing is damn near new...

River Dad.....have you played with the inserts any. What color/size did you like? Thanks
-
they range from 3.00 to 3.187 inch depending on hp and set up. The teal insert is 3.061, kinda in the middle..
For a low power deal prolly not a lot of difference.. But for an all out big power deal, they work very well.. The kit cost 1000 bucks or so at Place Diverter.. I'll take $650 for it which is a great deal....
