What's the benefit to a loader? Would it have any affect on my jc pump with a stock 455 Hardin motor or would it not be worth it?

It will stuff the bowl with water. This would be like a super charger for the pump. You will see more mph. The loader does just that and loads the pump. The stock rock grate does nothing but help keep rocks out.

As in who made it? im not sure. its a steal loader thats pretty thick. I can get you any info you want off it. It came out of the daytona and the blocker was to help lift the ass end, or so i was told.

Dave I am a litle ignorant, when it comes to loaders. I was intrested in the type or style, as in top loader, center blocker and so forth? I really dont know which does what?......

i too am a little ignorent when it comes to these loaders but from what i have learned, this is a center blocker loader which will create lift in the rear end. The center blocker can be cut out and then the ramps can be trimed to fit the bottom of the boat so that you dont have any of the "wings" sticking out of the bottom. Other than that i dont know much else. Sorry Hal
