Title: Looking for exhaust logs and motor mounts for an SBC

I currently have a 403 Olds that I spun a bearing in. Looking to drop a Chevy 350 in. I want to maintain the through transom exhaust so i need new logs and motor mounts.

I have a front 4 point mount. I can take a pic when I get back from the river.

Rebel... here is the thing. I have an Olds 455 in the garage that i would love to drop in but the block, heads and crank all need machining. Plus i would need a cam, motor mounts, logs and an oil pan. I'm limited to funds and dont really want to keep the 403 in the boat.

all the parts from the 403 olds will bolt up to the 455 olds

Jim,

I'm new to Olds motors. What parts can I salvage from the 403 if I rebuild the 455? I dont know anyone who is familiar with the motors either so I appreciate your help.

if you do go sbc jim brock has a set of imco's ready to go.   O0

you can use everything from the shortblock on, even the camshaft

I've got a set of Hardin logs that came from my 88 Tahiti.  Had them polished two years ago and never used them, sitting on shelf.  I'll post pictures soon.  Tried, can't get them to load, too big.

I ended up getting an Olds 455 so I will have to pass on the logs. Thank you though.
