OK here we go, the JA & JB & JG are split bowl pumps that share similar bowl design, Now the JC has the same suction housing but a one piece bowl. The JI is Berkeleys newest pump, It has the lastest upgrades. The JR is very similar to the JG except the intake is slightly diferent and comes with a droop snoot, some have diverters and some have fixed race nozzels. The JC Bowl is a great bowl and can be modified to accept a droop or any other nozzel bolt on. The JC bowl has the longest vains witch help it direct the presurized water more towards the aft.

The JE & JF are insert pumps. The JF has a slight bit of trimability and has a different reverse bucket. But they both use as standard a C bowl.

Rod,

Thanks, I'll think about it.

Have you ever installed a Berkeley in place of a Jacuzzi WJ?
Will it require reworking the hull to install the intake?

Yes it does but not much. It makes a better seal and less use of poxy putty.
I am willing to help or guide you through the change just let me know.
