Title: Low profile intake
Post by: River Dad on September 15, 2016, 08:33:14 PM: Got a low profile intake machined with a shoe. Not sure od the brand, but it looks to be in great shape with the entry smoothed.

Most race guys have swapped over to a low pro intake. There is a great thread on PB that explains it much better than I can, I'll try and find it

Think about it like this, the closer you can get the impeller centerline to the keel, the less the water has to change direction making pump loading much more effective and smooth. It also makes mounting the engine that much more "fun".

$600 for both
