Appearantly it some kind of propulsion for a boat.
There is still a piece of a Lavey Craft attached to it.

if that thing was attatched to a big block then yeah its got some value...small block still has value just not as much as far as price do your research unless you feel like just giving it away...i know my omc i put up for sale..."old school junk" is easily worth 750 and i got calls all day long just no $ came through! mercruiser is proud of there shit so im thinken you can get a decent price for it!

At some point I'd like to throw some power in the Hallett and it's gonna get REAL expensive if this thing were to take a crap. Better start workin on the pump.
OK beerjet, one more time, what is it ? 

 How old is it ?

 Is it for a BB or one of those little V6 ones ? 
It had a SBC in front of it so I'm assuming it's an ALPHA and the lavey was an 89 I think.
